Mighty Moose Hockey vs. Winnipeg

Not every day out there you've the chance to match against canadian teams on the ice. There are rare possibilities, but there are!

Pre-Season started yesterday 8:30pm and ended 3x20min later. Short, but full of quality, because Mighty Moose does not test against anybody, Mighty Moose tests against Canada. A Heartbreakers-Team from Winnipeg ... no, a Team called "Heartbreakers" from Winnipeg did the long journey to central Europe to play against famous Mighty Moose in Graz Liebenau -  an evening starting with "Graz 99ers vs. Vienna capitals" as an opener game before the main act "Mighty Moose vs. Winnipeg".

The first period was fully controlled by Winnipeg with a score of 1:3, increased even to 1:4 in the second. Well, still not bad for an austrian team against a canadian team while the score is usually double digit in favor of Canada.
But in the final period we counted on our greatest strength: "the miracle" - and with it and with the supporting help of the canadian defender who finally got the "fuck-up hat" we managed to tie the game in the last minutes. This was the first tie game against canada since the world championships game in Prague in April 2004. I believe that Migthy Moose Team was as satisfied as entire canada with the 4:4 final score.
